If you don’t have the natural soft lips and you always have to carry a lip balm with you, here are a few tips to use whenever you have cracked, chapped lips or you want to give them a natural boost.

Take a pinch of sugar and some honey and apply on the lips. The honey will act as moisturizer while the sugar will exfoliate them, leaving them smooth and red.

Plump your lips by mixing a drop of cinnamon oil with your usual lip gloss. It will increase the blood flow in your lips and give you a quick boost.

Create your own lip balm by using 1 tbsp. canola oil, 1 tsp. freshly grated ginger and 3 tbsp. of beeswax. Melt the canola oil mixed with beeswax in a double boiler or on steam. Grate the ginger and squeeze it (using a cloth) on top of them. Stir the mixture and store it in a tiny jar or a small lip balm bottle and enjoy.
